 Well, I finally got the custom cutting board fitted for the stove top place in the counter. The cutting board is VT maple and is 1.5 inches thick. The edges are routed out 1.0 inches to allow the board to nest in the old stove opening where it is secure and doesn't stick up too high. The edges of the board overlap the countertop by 0.5 inches for support. | ||
