 Here are two heads. The one on the left is the 440 head that came on FMC engines. The one on the right is the head from a 413. Note that greater hight of the 413 head and the more desirable bolt pattern for the exhaust manifold. 413 heads can be put on a 440 with some additional parts included. That will allow better head cooling and higher compression. | ||
