 This photo shows the reason that the exhaust manifold was being worked on. See the two locations where there is black soot. Those are the two places where the exhaust manifold gasket was missing. After the manifold was pulled off, we were able to check the plane of the mating surface and it was too dished to put it back on. Also it had a fine crack on the top. Fortunately Eric had a new one in his garage so we replaced this one with the new one. | ||
