 Shows the difference in the yoke shaft diameter, new shaft is larger and 16 spline vs 10 spline. One nice thing about 16 spline is that you can get a true 90dg phasing which can't be done with the 10spline (you can only get 72 with two teeth or 108dg with 3 teeth rotation). I talked with a couple driveline shops and both said that if the angles are unequal(as they are on an FMC) then 90dg phasing is proper installation. | ||
