West Coast Plymouth Rally-Nov 2012
Author: BigRabbitMan (Show all albums)

This album illustrates the enjoyment and learning that FMC Coach owners had at the recent rally. We had 9 FMCs and one SOB trailer plus two coach owners without their coaches do to inoperative conditions. The pictures are courtesy of Stephen Heinrichs and Larry Enoksen.

After a while, Ed's two dogs decided to snuggle up to Stephen and go to sleep. When I left the coach I had to leave my coat so as to not disturb the dogs.

Frank "Paco" and Mary Lou Ruiz had cousins that lived nearby so they were taken out for some excursions with family.

... and then there was Greg's dog! Note that the dog's head is larger and higher than Greg's while standing on the floor. It was Greg's Irish Wolfhound which was also very well behaved.

This Don Reed. He does not own an FMC coach. He is a tool and die maker and in that capacity he built the original jigs for the construction of the frames of our coaches so he has a long association with our coaches. He was up for the day as our guest.

Here we have Larry Enoksen, Don Reed, Carlton Camrye, Liza Lee Miller, Jim Woestman and Greg Miller discussing the coaches.

Here Don is visiting with Mark Heinrichs, Stephen's son, and Mark's partner, Mia. An interesting fact that came up was that FMC designed the coach frame, but did not actually build it. Since many of the parts are stamped to form them, the frames were built by International or Dana as those companies had the large stamping machines needed.

And the discussions continue with Paul Hankerson, Don Reed, Ed Marshall, Tracie Hankersn, Dean Lumibao and Paco Ruiz with Ed's coach in the background. Notice that it has docking lights which Ed says are too high up.

It then became coach tour time. We had each coach owner give a very short statement about any interesting facts associated with the coach and then everyone was invited to tour the coach. Here Laura Lumibao is exiting the Miller's coach #708

Then it was on to Stephen's coach #386 and since we had full sun and an open spot we took the opprotunity to get a group shot with most of the attendee's available. They are from the left: Liza Lee Miller, Mia V. & Mark Heinrichs, Stephen Heinrichs, Jim Woestman, Don Reed, Gage Miller, Mary Lou and Paco Ruiz, in front, Nuntawan and Joe Camrye, Ed Marshall, Tracie and Paul Hankerson, Laura and Dean Lumibao, Larry Enoksen and Carlton Camrye.

After the photo op, since there was a captive audience, Stephen decided to do a Show & Tell with the Thermosan Waste Destruct pump from coach #1046.

Dean does seem very engrossed with the subject!

While they were standing back a little Greg's mother, his sister, Jennifer and her partner, Bob along with Ed were still very interested in the presentaion.
