Colorado Mega Rally - 2012

While the rally was originally scheduled to be at a campground on the edge of Colorado Springs, due to forest fires the rally master, Jim Evans, with the assistance of Harry Day, secured spaces at another campground about 20 miles north. While the facilities were not near as ammendable to a rally, the people and coaches were the same and we had a great time. Don't miss the next rally! The pictures are a compilation of the efforts of Nuntawan Camrye, Connie Kubiak & Barney Martin, Lynn Clugston, Kathleen Sitton, Greg Miller, Bill Rogers and Stephen Heinrichs.

Well, the "greeter" set a good mood for the rally. This is Yogi Bear as we were at the Jellystone RV Park.	You can see that Larry Enoksen and, in the middle, his granddaughter, Hillary Kong, and her friend, Katie Lim, were going to have a good time.	The beautiful coach #645 in the front came all the way from Blue Vale, Ontario, Canada only to have his starter quit in front of the registration office! Frank Borrmann was able to get a starter in a few hours and, helped by his brother, Mark, they were up and running again. Behind them is Barney Martin and Connie Kubiak's freshly painted coach #801.	Oh! A gaggle of kids! Here we have Hillary Kong, Joe Camrye, Katie Lim, Gage Miller and Juliane Gillham all waiting for a driver.
See how nice they wait! Hillary is trying to entice the camera person to come and be a driver.	Yes!! Success!! They got a driver. It does appear that Barney still has some child in him!	Here comes Bill Sitton in coach #902. At the rally in Colorado in 2007, it would have been doubtful that he would have made it up the hill, but with some engine magic, here he comes.	They made it in fine form, and doesn't Kathleen look great in the co-pilot's seat.
Backing in Bill was a little shaky, but with Matt Evans, Sandy Day, Jim Steinborn, Jim Evans and Bill Rogers helping he made it on the first try.	This is the pavilion which sat on the only significant level spot in the campground, but it worked very well for socializing. Here Lynn Clugston on the left and Connie Kubiak are visiting.
