Colorado Mega Rally - 2012
Author: BigRabbitMan (Show all albums)

This album shows a little of what the attendees did at the rally. While the rally was originally scheduled to be at a campground on the edge of Colorado Springs, due to forest fires the rally master, Jim Evans, with the assistance of Harry Day, secured spaces at another campground about 20 miles north. While the facilities were not near as ammendable to a rally, the people and coaches were the same and we had a great time. Don't miss the next rally!

The pictures are a compilation of the efforts of Nuntawan Camrye, Connie Kubiak & Barney Martin, Lynn Clugston, Kathleen Sitton, Greg Miller, Bill Rogers and Stephen Heinrichs.

Looking along the side of #902 we see #839.

Relaxing here are Frank Borrman (far left), Jim Steinborn, Mark Borrmann, Barney Martin and Harry Day. They are from Ontario, Canada; Colorado; Michigan; and Oregon.

Here we have Larry, Ed, Lou, Stephen, Carlton and Bill S. States represented are California, Oregon, Arizona, and Colorado. While the internet reaches wide, it is great to gather from far and near just to visit face to face.

Now we come to rallies for many reasons. To learn new things, meet new people, and to just relax. It appears that Jim Woestman and Bill Rogers have the relaxing part all figured out!

Here is Liza Lee Miller showing off the Presidential Camping spot!!

While a few of the girls were doing crafts ...

... a couple of the guys had assumed the guy position while ...

... a couple of others had assumed the other guy position!

Same position, but a different coach. They had left Barney's #801 and switched to Ken's #705.

Meanwhile, the Millers are trying to plan where they go from the rally as the rally was a midway point in a 6 week counterclockwise loop around the Western USA. Connie Kubiak and Bill Rogers were assisting.

What! There they are back under #801. But that is one of the major benefits of going to a rally: being able to see and discuss how to deal with or improve various aspects of an FMC.
