Colorado Mega Rally - 2012
Author: BigRabbitMan (Show all albums)

This album shows a little of what the attendees did at the rally. While the rally was originally scheduled to be at a campground on the edge of Colorado Springs, due to forest fires the rally master, Jim Evans, with the assistance of Harry Day, secured spaces at another campground about 20 miles north. While the facilities were not near as ammendable to a rally, the people and coaches were the same and we had a great time. Don't miss the next rally!

The pictures are a compilation of the efforts of Nuntawan Camrye, Connie Kubiak & Barney Martin, Lynn Clugston, Kathleen Sitton, Greg Miller, Bill Rogers and Stephen Heinrichs.

Meanwhile, Connie pilots #801 back towards home in Michigan. Ladies please note that Connie is the primary driver of their coach. That means that it is OK for you to take a turn at the wheel as well.

Headed back to Rolla, MO, Ken checks his notes.

And here is the ride they took!

After every rally you have to go somewhere. Jim Woestman, a certified train nut, met the Camrye's in Chama, NM to go for a train ride.

... a kitchen that looks like this in an FMC? Well, it is the transit conversion piloted by Jim Steinborn. You need to be at the next rally so that you can see the inside of the coaches as well as the outside.

Have you seen the front of a coach that looks like this or ...

Liza Lee and Greg's planning continue with assistance from Jim S, Lou and Stephen.

Coach #839 is reflected in the window of #617.

Jim Woestman came from Carthage, MO in #617. The Mega rally of 2014 will be at Jim's place in Carthage so start planning.

Sandy Day, on the left, and Harry Day, on the right, visit with Ed Marshall and his sister. Ed gets the Persistance Award for his continuing efforts to get to the rally which he successfully accomplished.

... more colors.
