Northern Calif Work Day - Oct 2009
Author: BigRabbitMan (Show all albums) This was a work day to further the preparation of coaches 888 and and 708 for the Felton Rally next week. This was held at the home of 587 in Gilroy. While 1046 got left at home, it's driver was able to come anyway and lend advice and picture taking. |
| |||||
Aha!! A covey of FMC's spotted through the forest. | A better view. 888 on the left and 708 on the right and 587 in the back. Engine compartments are open! | Now, having a slide out/slide in extra set of domestic batteries is cool. They have their own on/off switch to control when they are used or charged. | Carlton Camyre is the proud owner of 888 since earlier in the year. See him smiling - he is starting to get the hang of FMC maintenance.
Here Greg Miller is inspecting the air dam and AC condensers of 888. Notice the neat additional light by Greg's hand. | Carlton and Greg are deep in discussion. | It pays to start the training of your helpers at an early age. | Another view of the three coaches. 587 on the left, 888 on the right and 708 in the back.
This gives another view of the additional lights and also the horns up on top. | Somehow at these workdays, we don't get pictures of the faces very often. Usually it is this view! | But if not that view, then it is this view! Here we get double the number of legs. That is Eric Whedon and Greg Miller working on Greg's parking brake. You will just have to take my word for it! | Always there is a "mistery" something. This time it was this exhaust pipe looking thing that is not the generator exhaust. It is on the right, rear corner of 888. We figured it out. What do you think it is?
