Rt 66 Rally - 2009
Author: BigRabbitMan (Show all albums)

This is a photo gallery of a few of the photos taken by Stephen Heinrichs. The first few pictures document a little of the 2,000 mile trip it took to get to the rally location in Springfield, MO from California. The rest of the pictures document the visits to special attractions arranged by the Rally Master and Route 66 itself. A great time was had by all.

Here is Jim Woestman's coach #617. Note that there is no insigia's on the coach. He has them, but you will have to ask him for the story as to why they are not on the coach!

On #617 you will note that there is neither basement AC nor a storage compartment. This is probably the only coach without a door here for some purpose. Jim needed the closet to be taller so that area was added to the closet by lowering the closet floor.

Here is Denny Shewmake's coach #890. It is a very nice looking coach and Denny takes good care of it.

Note the large clearance lights. I hadn't seen these on any coach prior to the rally. Frank also has them on #645.

Another view of the Borrmann coach #645 from Ontario, Canada.

These hub caps must get a lot of attention where ever Frank goes. He had them machined out of solid aluminum. They really look nice!

Frank really did it again when he moved the water hose attachment and the electrical attachment to under the license plate. Very neat and clean. I have been trying to decide what to do with my cord and I think this is it!

Look close and you will see the horn tucked behind the bumper. Yep, it is Frank's #645 again.

Jesse, Frank, Suzanne Borrmann and Roy relaxing.

Denny and Jim relaxing. We seemed to do a lot of that. At least Denny has a tool in his hand.

Ahh, Denny's tool at work. Nothing like a little fire and smoke to make a good meal.

I told you that Denny's coach was nice and shiny and clean! This is how he keeps it that way. He happened to park under a favoite bird gathering spot so he moved the coach a little and then cleaned up the mess.
