I won't be cleaning the air filter, this one has done it's job. Kind of a monkey job getting the Donaldson air filter canister out of the rig... | New rubber | Here's #6 spark plug...ouchy wah wah. I put a fresh set in, will pull a couple and look after I drive it. The rest of the plugs were just tired. | I think I mentioned this before on another thread, but if you ever remove the fan and pulleys to replace the power steering belt or change the water pump, make a couple studs out of 5/16" bolts, put them in only a few turns so they are easily removed after you start your two fan bolts.
Greasy FMC water pump removal arm....The bearings were toast. | This isn't the first time I've seen this....I wondered where that belt went 14 years ago? lol. See the greasy radiator too? | You can see the indent on the lower radiator hose where it was rubbing on the lower air damn causing a small leak. I found this new hose at the neighborhood parts house. A little trimming on each end made for a perfect fit. | Not going to SEMA, but she's straight
The ladder was installed backwards upside down and bowed out, not really, but you can see what it looked like on the second pic in the album, and you wouldn't of wanted to climb on it due to missing hardware. So I swapped the lower hardware around and drilled and tapped some new holes. | (sideways photo) The return spring is weak, so I added a second spring here, I just drilled a small hole on the lower end. I'm not sure if the weak spring is the original, it looks to be a smaller spring with not a lot of tension. | (sideways photo) I had to cut a 1/4" off the MC push rod | Here it is!
