Felton Rally Nov '09 | ||
Author: BigRabbitMan (Show all albums) This is the album for a few of the pictures of the rally held in Felton, California Nov 6-8, 2009. We had a total of 10 FMC coaches at the rally and 13 owners for all or part of the rally. The furthest attendees came from over 2,000 miles way and the closest was 5 miles. Regardless of distance, we "met the nicest people" and had a great time. We missed you and hope to see you at the next rally. The photos are the combined effort of Ron and Louise Herbert, Harry and Sandy Day and Stephen Heinrichs. |

I said that #0002 was probably the most modified. Here is the upper right cabinet treatment and .... | ....the wall to the rear of the refrigerator. These are just two examples of what has been done to the coach while his family has owned it for the past 23 years. | The "guy" conversations just kept happening. Here we have two separate groups adjacent to #621 and .... | ....over by #587 the electrical 30 vs 50 amp seminar was happening. Just pick a subject, ask a question and an instant group session happens!
And now for formal introductions: in coach numerical order here we have Cliff Cappos with a unique logo on the front of #0002 followed by .... | ...Brian Gorman and Vivian Terry standing in front of a coach that looks like their #027 (which wasn't mechanically inclinded this time) and then ... | ....Frank "Paco" and Mary Lou Ruiz with recently repainted #059. We then move on to .... | ...Lynn and Ken Clugston who came west from MO in their Vogue as #268 had a wounded right front spindle and couldn't make the trip on three wheels. It is important to note that the Clugstons attend rallies in what ever vehicle will get them there. Last summer it was their van. Next up is our members from Oregon ....
...Harry and Sandy Day in front of #400. They also didn't let a mechanical problem stop them, but it was the brand new water heater that died so it will be replaced on the way back home. No hot water! That is really roughing it. | Now Dale and Carolyn Maggio, #509, were our newest members as they signed up at the rally and only have had their coach for two weeks. It needs restoration as it hadn't been used in years, but ran well enough to make it the 5 miles to the rally - twice! | You have seen the children and Eric, but here he is joined by both of the children, Jake and Katelyn and the wife and mother, Toni Whedon, in front of #587. | Not to be forgotten is Jim Woestman who organized the Rt 66 rally last June, attended the Four Corners rally and now made it to the Felton rally even though he also had to come all the way from MO. He and the Clugstons traveled together with Jim leading the final lap into the campground in #617. Note the absence of a logo on his coach.
