LCAC_Man #1027 LBZ Duramax Conversion

5500w Onan LP generator installed in it's new home.	(1 Comments) standard queen size mattress, 10" thick, top 3" are memory foam. You have to squeeze the sides a little when putting it up but it's no problem. The bottom sides of it had to be notched to fit the platform which I did with my trusty electric knife.	Mattress is right at window level which is what I wanted, I always loved that about my pop up campers, lying in bed and looking straight out the windows.	Carpet in the stowage area should help keep things from sliding around and is just another layer of sound insulation.
(1 Comments) I think I'm going to paint this forward bulkhead brown rather than the grey, the grey works well on the outer walls but is too much contrast here.	I can add "carpet installer" to the list of jobs I'd never want to have	(2 Comments) found this on craigslist, only 20hrs on it (2012 year model), super quiet and smooth..	frame for the new generator partially completed and in for test fit
plywood that was in here had obviously suffered from years of air conditioning moisture and was really rotten, structure is crusty but fine otherwise	generator change and relocation has begun	frame/platform is just narrow enough to fit between the upper cabinets and allow for unobstructed access to the storage below	26" long 150psi struts needed to do the job
