This cutout was too wide and allowed the trim to back out over night. | Found hammering it in with a rubber mallet worked perfectly and held tight. | Tried several corner configurations and found this cutout created the most tight turn at the radius. | Adjusted the router to a perfect edge fit. | ||
Do a test panel first! | Get ready to measure twice and cut once. I mocked up all the plywood pieces first. Then laid out the formica in my living room floor to trace out the pieces with the woodgrain going in the right direction. | New T molding is available online at https://www.t-molding.com/brown-t-molding.html | Initially, I wanted to recapture the shore power and cold air intake area for the drivers side bed as it is extra long and I'm 6'2" tall. Trust me... I had no idea how much work was ahead to build new cabinetry, relocate the shore power, cold air intake, batteries and replace the oversized Allison transmission cover!!! | I felt bad taking it out as Len had obviously thought through what was needed to make it functional and well built. | At home for the platform bed removal.
