The mounting support for the tail lights is a piece of plywood fiberglass resin into place. The passenger side was pulled away from the body allowing the assembly to easily push in and start to fall. I think this was caused by the painters removing the fmc emblems? When they drilled out the original rivots they may have pushed the mount off the fiberglass. idk | It had a case of saggy light housing... | The license plate light was fried... | These lenses were on upside down also. But if you notice, the light housings are upside down also, see the bulb comes down from the top...
Figured out why the back up tail lights weren't working... | (1 Comments) Here is 324 parked next to my ol' # 850. We were at the 2019 Oakridge OR rally. | Here's that #6 plug after 450 miles. The 440 used 1/4 of a quart of oil, I still have one leaky valve cover, and I just replaced the fuel pump gasket that was leaking oil badly....So not too bad on oil usage really.
The tires were 17 years old. | When I first opened the hot water/furnace exterior door, I noticed the prop rod was laying in the bottom, makes it hard to lock the door with that rod hanging out, so I made a little hook/hanger for the rod to snap into to keep it up out of the way when closing the door. | The hot water heater has 110v and gas heat. The 110v seemed to work, but the water stinks like burnt electrical or maybe an algae?? I removed the element to inspect, all is good including the wiring. I tried the gas and it is working also. I added bleach to the water system and hot water heater to try and kill any bacteria it may have. We'll see how that goes....
