Their was no bushing inside the eye of the cable end, so I was on a mission to make one out of something. | Digging through the misc parts bin found some ideas... | (2 Comments) This is an adapter for a bike inner tube, fits pretty good. | I drilled out the inside diameter of the gold piece with a 3/16" drill bit, and then some hacksaw/file work made this. I will look for something better next time I'm at the hardware store. |
