Following the river. | The next several shots are of the canyon that we were passing through. This section of the river and its uniqueness was instramental to stopping the potential construction of a dam and getting the Wild and Scenic designation for this river. | Here is a deer standing in the shade of the tree. | ... and then we make a fast turn and this is what happens! Well, the water was just below the level of where we were eating so imagine that whole canyon filled with water! | Finally we made it to our lunch stop. It was just in time as we were all hungery.
