Rt 66 Rally - 2009

This is a photo gallery of a few of the photos taken by Stephen Heinrichs. The first few pictures document a little of the 2,000 mile trip it took to get to the rally location in Springfield, MO from California. The rest of the pictures document the visits to special attractions arranged by the Rally Master and Route 66 itself. A great time was had by all.

The next morning four coaches are ready to start traveling Rt 66.

Here we are with two coaches in front of the photographer and...

...one behind.

Here we are on the route...


...following the byways.

First we go left...

...then we go right.

Here we have parked so that we can visit our first stop.


Red Oak is a historic town that artist Lowell Davis (google his name for more info) has created by moving many original buildings from where he grew up and creating some others. Everything is tied together historically.

Here is the school.

Here Suzanne Borrmann is taking a picture of Rachel, Roy and Jesse in the Chrysler truck. Note the figurines in the truck. The General Store is in the background.
