West Coast Felton Rally - Sept 2017
Author: BigRabbitMan (Show all albums) Another fun and learning time was experienced at the Felton Rally. There were eight coaches present with the first appearance by one coach and the first rally for two owners. |
| |||||
Len arrived with coach 1027, on the left, and his scooter for getting around the local area. | A star of the rally was Larry Enoksen's dog Baby. Here she is waiting for Larry to pick up and throw "the ball". She will only go get green tennis balls! Very particular. But Larry will not get the ball from the ground, Baby has to give it to him. If he doesn't throw the ball, she will find someone else to throw the ball! Eventually almost everyone gets a turn. Harry and Greg are waiting to see what happens. | Left to right discussing things important to FMC ownership are Len Barron, Capell son, Sandy Day, Louise Herbert and Ron Herbert. | Here we have part of Louise Herbert, Ron Herbert, Antoinette Capell (holding Mia), Darren Capell, visiting Capell daughter, Harry Day.
Enjoying the fire are left to right Len Barron, Capell son, and Sandy Day. | A few attendee's relaxing. These are from left to right, Harry Day, Ron Herbert, Gage Miller, Ruth Miller, Liza Lee Miller, and Greg Miller. | Walter Poultney of 577 is ready to join the circle. | By evening time, it was cool enough for Ron Herbert to start the campfire!
We had great weather for the rally with it getting warm enough to head for the shade in the early afternoon. | (1 Comments) The other side of 577 showing that it doesn't have a storage bay nor the basement AC units. Inspection of the inside indicates that this is the original configuration and not a rework. | (2 Comments) This is coach 577 which is a Custom Club-3 per the serial plate. The interior is somewhat similar to an A but with a number of differences. It is the first rally appearance by this coach. It is owned by Rob Gale, but was driven by Walter Poultney. | (1 Comments) The short leg of the "L" consisted of coach 1046-Heinrichs, coach 386-Enoksen and, later, coach 1027-Barron.
