Floor glued & stapled down. Note the row of screws hanging the wall gusset plywood just under the aluminum angle pc just below the hatch piano hinge. These are important as it helps spread the load across the entire wall section. | (1 Comments) Never liked this 45 degree angle here. A radius would be mint. | (1 Comments) Same framing method we use for balloon tread framing for stairwork. Simple and strong. | Had a little 1/8" mahogany kicking around so I bent, glued & stapled a couple of layers around it. If you do this, be sure to set the vertical studs back 1/4" from the front plywood radius to ensure the two layers of 1/8" ply end up flush with the upper and lower plywood radius when you're done. Faster setting white wood glue helps. More later... |
Pressure-bleeder made from $25.00 plant sprayer at Home Depot. I extended hose so it can sit on the ground, then put a 'tee' on the end with a two bent pcs of brake line with one of each size of flare-nuts that go into each side of the switch block beside the master. Yes, they're different sizes. WTF? | This particular sprayer had a pressure relief valve that I replaced with a $10.00 pressure gauge and some plumbing I had on hand to let the pressure off quickly. You don't really need the gauge but it's handy to check quick if you still have pressure or need to give it few more pumps. This POS held 15 psi for extended periods long enough to do about 4 wheel cylinders and an H-Vac before I had to pump it again. The most IMPORTANT THING IS NOT TO LET THE FLUID LEVEL GET TOO LOW SO AIR GETS INTO THE SYSTEM. | FMC-TRANSIT (MCC-BARTH) CALIPER MOUNT BRACKET. | My take on this is: FMC 5108601-C (or G?) |
