West Coast Gold Beach Rally - July 2013

This album covers a little bit of the fun we had at the Gold Beach, OR rally. We had 8 FMC coaches plus three more owners whose coaches were not able to travel at this time. This rally was unusual in that we had a major Saturday activity with a jet boat ride up the Roque River. It was enjoyed by all that could make it. Also we have Ed Marshall, Liza Lee Miller and Ed's sister, Debbie Marshall.

After most of the day on the river, we returned to the rally site and relaxed and got ready for snacks and dinner. Here we have Greg Miller, Gage Miller, Nuntawan Camrye, Carlton Camrye and Larry Enoksen.

Here is a patch of wild rubarb. Time to gather some for a rubarb pie!

Back to the river and nature! Look close and you will see the river otter on the left with her kit (young otter) on the right almost on the mother's back.

... quickly slam the bow of the boat into while hitting reverse to bring the bow down and then, when the wall of water is splashed high in the air (higher than this picture as I protected the camera) hitting the throttle again to go under the wall of water before it came down! That was a great move Kevin! He said it was only the second time he was able to do it successfully. Yes, the front rows got VERY wet.


After double confirming the back rows opinion and desire to have it corrected and over the protest of the front rows, Kevin gives the boat full throttle and spins in a circle to create a strong boat wake that he can ...

Continuing downriver all is calm but the back 4 rows feel that the front rows didn't get as wet as the back rows and plead with Kevin to do something about it.
