(2 Comments) much better access to the power station, all circuit breakers vice fuses that were used in the earlier rigs(and mounted in a different spot) | (2 Comments) a view that most owners will never see, I spent about 30 minutes just vacuuming out corn kernels and other varmint remnants. Also believe that the drivers door window must have been broken out at some time as there was a lot of glass up there. | what a beast, after looking at all that needed to be done in the dash area, and crimes that both RVS and Previous Owners committed it had to come off. It will also be much easier to integrate the Silverado cluster now | this will fill up quick as I bring in the duramax conductors, using Dinkle DIN rail terminations and a large battery buss bar at the bottom.
thinning out the existing FMC wiring that used to control the old drive train, also testing each of those wires to be sure they are in good shape. I also repurposed a couple for additional brake switch signals and kept a couple as reserves. The rest that are hanging will be stripped out. | kind of hard to make out but you can see that I cut the brake lines that had gone back to the rear vacuum boost unit and installed and elbow and tied them together. Hydroboost unit will be installed up front and provide pressure assisted supply from there. | fabricated and installed new floor brace(from some left over material I had on hand) 3/16" x 1.5", it ties into the new access cover mounting flange and resulted in the floor in the bedroom being more rigid now than it was before I cut the hole. | (2 Comments) Turbo back from rebuild and looking like new. I used Turbo Depot & Performance Patrick Wood 462 Riverview St. Canal Fulton, OH, 44614 $375 including shipping both directions.
new cover from the engine bay view | new access cover installed, I'll through drill and the fasteners will compress/sandwich to the close out flange on the outside | new trans/rear engine access cover at about 90% | result will be an indexing flange on the interior for the new cover to key on
