Under dash terminal strip and BCM wiring filling up quick and I've still got a bunch of lighting circuits to work on

Possible solution to using original FMC Cruise Control switch with the Duramax ECM.

Body Control Module mounted on the fire wall near the front door, I mounted another DIN rail terminal station here right on the BCM mount bracket...might as well take advantage of the space/proximity..

heat shrink solder sleeves make a tedious process a little less so..

cardboard pattern for the finish plate, I'm thinking I'll use Black HDPE "Seaboard" as is has the same textured style surface as the original bezel pieces do.

Dash assembly had to be opened up in a couple spots for this to drop in but not a huge amount of cutting.

I inset it so that the top of the cluster is flush with the FMC dash bezel and brought the bottom in to reduce the amount that it sticks out, it will still protrude but won't be nearly as exaggerated.

Had some rain this weekend so I shifted to the dash as I can stay dry in the garage doing it. I built some aluminum angle mounts to attach the cluster to the outer plastic dash bezel.

this is a view of the emergency brake mount tab weld from the outside of the wheel well. I welded it top and bottom and from both sides. I also added a new mount bolt lower on the assy to reduce the leverage on the mount tab...should get another 20yrs out of it..

found the source of my "floating" emergency brake handle assembly. Mounting tab was only single side welded, and then not even the full length of the tab.

New Hydroboost master cylinder, this is a clutch master cylinder from a late 80's jeep, it is sized to drive the slave cylinder on the remote hydraboost set up.

Original master cylinder set up, I don't need any of this with the hydraboost setup as I only need a single port to run the slave cylinder.
