West Coast rally at Puddingstone Reservoir - 2012
Author: BigRabbitMan (Show all albums)

This album's pictures reveal the good time we had in February, 2012 at the East Shore RV park adjacent to the Puddingstone Reservoir in San Dimas, CA. Our attendees were from northern and southern CA, Arizona and Missouri. The pictures are courtesy of Stephen Heinrichs and Liza Lee Miller.

Now this is a nice looking coach. This is Paco and Mary Lou Ruiz's coach #059. It was the lowest number at the rally and one of the nicest. Since Paco purchased the coach over 20 years ago, he has put 140,000 miles on it and it runs like a top.

It looks like people are starting to gather around the fire pit behind Greg's coach 708 for some snacks or beverages.

The inspection and consultation continues with Ed adding some supervisor skills.

After Lou did his inspection, Paco went under the coach to see for himself what Lou found.

Then it became cardboard and shock mount inspection time!

Ed Marshall, Paco Ruiz and Lou Cruse are checking the placement of the check valves in the vacuum line for the brake boosters on Paco's 059. They were incorrectly placed too low.

.... while Ron Herbert does what he does best -- just sitting back in the shade of 621 relaxing.

Rebbecca Reyes, Ed Marshall's companion, is enjoying the sun while looking out over Puddingstone Reservoir from the doorway of coach 848.

Greg Miller and Eric Whedon are contemplating Eric's engine compartment.

Here we have Jerryne Miller, Ruth Miller, Greg Miller and Gage Miller in a highly competitive card game.

Many of the attendees at prior West Coast rallies and at the Mega Rally in Minden have seen Eric Whedon working on other people's coaches. Well, this is the air intake tube from Eric' coach. He had a backfire through the carburator on his way to the rally and so this time he had to work on his own coach. A quick run to a harware store secured the needed material and all was good.

It looks like the conversation has moved to Eric's coach with Lou, Stephen and Greg in deep conversation while Eric is standing in the doorway of 587.
