Oregon Mini-Rally 2009
Author: BigRabbitMan (Show all albums) This album has some of the pictures from the rally that was held at Casey's RV Park east of Eugene, OR in August of 2009. The trigger for the rally was the visit west of the Borrmann family from Ontario, Canada. Those of us that were avilable gathered and had a wonderful time. The pictures are by Stephen Heinrichs and Ed Hannevig. |

Later has arrived as Jesse Borrmann is on the right and Harry is getting his laptop computer out so that we can look things up on the internet while we are conducting a BOGSAT. | This is the rest of the BOGSAT including Stephen, Frank, Sandy and Evelyn. BOGSAT's can include Gals as well as Guys. | Notice the open engine compartment doors on #645 with no one there. I think we just opened the engine compartments and left them open for the duration! Notice the action at the rear of the Jeep with Harry and Eric supervising something. | This is what they were supervising! All the coaches ran fine, but a tow vehicle had a fuel pump problem and we had to tow it back from the restuarant with Harry's Jeep. A quick pump removal, tweeking and reinstallation and all was well. Here Eric and his son Jake are supervising. Note that Eric is keeping his hands in his pockets!
And the BOGSAT continued. Here is Ed Hannevig, Eric Whedon, Frank Borrmann and Harry Day (under the hat) deep in talk. The empty chair was Stephen but he got up to take the picture. | Here Frank and Harry are deep in technical talk at the rear of #400. | Now Sandy says that Harry can't pass a hat store without a quick look and probably a new hat. But also being a hat person, I really like this hat - Harry has good taste. | Here Jane Heinrichs is attempting to keep the bees away from the watermelon. Evelyn Hannevig and little Katie Whendon are in the background.
Here is Evelyn and Katie and Jesse. | And the BOGSAT continues except that this time they are Standing instead of Sitting! | All of us really liked the RV park. Three coaches were side by side with the other two on the next row behind us. But if you stepped across the drive in front of #520 or #400, this was the view! All of the locals plan on coming back to this park in the future on their own. | Here is another view with Jane relaxing on her canvass fold out recliner relaxing after a swim in the pool. #1046 is on the left, #645 on the right and #520 inbetween. The river is just behind #520. Notice the nice, long, separated spaces.
