(3 Comments) Mounted they sure make the rest of the paint look bad. | Found some LED headlights that looked ok and didn't break the bank. The center white stripe will be for daylight running lights on the high beam side and the outside will flash with the turn signals. The difference in light output is amazing. | A bit going on here. The Ramco mirror mounts needed a bit of reshaping to fit. The side LEDs are a simple bolt in job but are a bit more modern. The water fill had to move as the real estate where it once resided is now occupied buy the remote master cylinder reservoir. Besides being a leak potential where FMC located it. | Bit the bullet and had the rear grills powder coated. They really look 100% better and should last a lot longer than the rattle can method.
Here is a shot of the relays for the levelers. I haven't been able to find any information on the levelers themselves and Lippert won't respond to my requests. Wish me luck figuring out the 5 wire system. | After trying to de-rust the heater control valves only to have them return to their previous difficult ways I decided to try and find a replacement. These are close enough for the rear heater and should work for the front also. It may require a longer cable but it looks ok now (with the dash still out). | Close enough. | I removed the dual wiper motors and have installed a single motor used on the Silverado donor truck. This allows the stalk mounted switch to operate the wipers along with the adjustable speeds. There really is very limited space which makes it critical getting the needed clearances.
Started working on the dash. Making it fit and look decent will be a challange. | This is looking at the passenger side wiper arm extension. | Here's the drivers side arm. It was a bit of a challange to get the geometry correct to get a full sweep of the windshield. There are the two extra holes in the arm extension I drilled and tapped trying to get the sweep just right. Very happy with the results. | Rear junction box really filled up. Tough to make it look real tidy I'm afraid.
