I got tired of playing football with the coolant overflow tank...so I will remove and install a different tank in a new location...I also replaced the 3/4" heater hoses and put in a new ball valve shut off. I flushed out the lines running north and south with the garden hose, I flushed it both directions multiple times, then blew the non DI water out. | This is an in-line thermostat. I will be taking it apart and checking the function when I replace the rubber hoses soon. It lets hot engine water pass through it, but I have an issue with hot water reaching the cab. I do get hot water heating the hot water heater up front though...still need to investigate. Well after investigating, this heater hose only supplies water to the HW heater, and to the added extra engine water cooler. I know now that my dash heat is supplied from the RH side of the rig, tied into the rear bedroom heater loop etc...still need to trouble shoot that system. | custom ventilation work with expanded steel screen on the right rear corner, the rear engine access door has the same. | This shows some of the custom vent work done. The vent louvers were bent down, they added wood supports between the vents, helps rigidity of the door to support the air scoops on the outside. |
