Subject: When was last time you were on Coach roof and why?

I just spent some time this afternoon up on the roof installing a new dome switch for the FanTastic Fan motor.  The old one was frozen and they sent me a new one at no cost. While I was up there I confirmed that the vent caps were in place and swept a few tree droping off and just enjoyed the view for a while. After going inside and removing the screen and cleaning it, I played with the old switch and got it unstuck so I now have a spare. The vent I worked on was the one in the center of the coach which had been upgraded to a rain sensor, temp controlled unit.  My bedroom one is the standard manual one.

I then when into the house and visited Fantastic Fan's website and found out that they have an upgrade kit where you can upgrade any of the old manual vents to the new 14 speed auto, radio controled system.  You can also upgrade an old one to be just the rain sensor, temp controled unit. This upgrade can be done without removing the unit from the roof so I bit and ordered it.  Now it can be turned on or off or the temp setting changed without getting out of bed in the middle of the night. I ordered it here:  http://members.aol.com/fantasticvent/ .  Will let you know how it works after I get it installed.

Be careful about going up on the roof, it may cost you money!
