Subject: Roof top AC fiberglass cover

During high winds the rivets attaching the fiberglass roof top AC cover detached and the unit is no longer repairable.
Is there anyone out there that has a Motor coach they are parting out, or knows of anyone that would have the AC cover?

(204.10.247.1)		#184 needed this cover, and at that time (couple years ago), Jim Black was still in business, he had one at RVS he said he'd sell for a hundred bucks. That was a good deal in my opinion, but I didn't buy it, 184 had more pressing issues, so who knows where that cover went..You will find one i'm sure.

Unless your AC-cover blew off and was run over by a 18-wheeler it should still be very repairable. It's just normal polyester/fiberglass and som gelcoat. Take it to someone doing boat repairs or other fiberglass workshop and hear what's their suggestion would be.
If you find a used one it will have the very same poor fitting, same points of stress, probably plenty of redrilled holes and be just at "worn out" as the one you have was when it came loose. If you find one that has been not exposed to the elements during the last 40 years, then buy and install that one.
