Location: Oslo Norway (193.212.109.62) | This coach is listed under "inventory" of coaches offered by a company in Holland. They used to list the other Norweegian owned coach as available inventory. I told the owner over here his coach was listed for sale and he emailed them as a potential byer and was told the coach was now sold. Now they have become more serious about how the communicate in their website, and have added "This coach or camper is merely an example".
So..why do I bother?.... I see a problem because they are marketing the fact that these old coaches are subject to dispensation of road and import taxes and emmison regulations, due to rules defined under historical interest over here. If they succeed in making a business of this the regulations will be changes making it hard or impossible for people like myselves to take on non profit projects for personal use like #477. The rules will simply be changed and the coaches will be excluded for example by emmission regulations. It's easier to close a hole in the regulations than to find one. I have seen this happen quite some times during the years when people start to get a little to clever making money and then the gready few will make things difficult for the honest common people as always.
For exaple trucks like my GMC Sierra 2500HD used to be possible to import as a "heavy truck" without personal car taxes, after a period of two-three years a handful of dealers had provoced the system to much and suddenly rules where changed with the result that taxes on a new 2500hd with passenger seats now is very close to 100.000 usd!! And they adapted rules for heavy trucks demanding the truck had to have speeed limiters. You do not se many new ones on the road any longer.
Also the current owner of this coach might findt it strange to have his/hers coach is listed by a european dealer.
The coach looks really nice so it was a good choice i guess......
Stay cool
