It is with sadness that need to report that Harry Day passed away a couple of days ago. Harry and Sandy were longtime FMC owners as they purchased coach 400 in 1994. I met them in 2005 at the Las Vegas rally that year. They made their home in Oregon. They attended virtually all rallies after that point.
While they added a Country Coach in 2000 for their annual spring trip back east to see their sons, the FMC was his pride and joy. While they no longer used the FMC for the eastern trips after 2000, it was still the one they primarily used here in the west. Harry was an excellent mechanic and kept their coach in top-of-line mechanical condition. Harry also was a willing advisor for those who sought his advice.
He will be missed by many FMC owners.
Internment will be on February 4th in Salem, Oregon. If anyone desires to attend, message me for particulars. |
