This RV is being sold as part of a settlement, and is not currently running. This is a one-of Hi-Top unit, there is a 1+ ton roof AC unit, and standing headroom in the main galley of the unit. Following is as accurate a description as will fit here. Contact me for additional information.
1976 FMC Motorhome, approximately 29', Dual Axle, Chrysler Marine 440ci engine, in rear of chassis. Current condition is dirty and rough, but these tasks were in progress when work stopped: Carb has been rebuilt Edelbrock/Carter AFB, needs to be installed with new linkage. Access hole added to bedroom so top of engine is accessible. Valve covers can be painted and reinstalled, new 8mm plug wires, hi heat, partly installed. Exhaust headers need installed, or original manifolds. Original manifolds are there, but caused heat issues. Exhaust route will have to be fab'd, mufflers and 2" exhaust pipe needed are onsite. 2 of the tires are likely flat and will need repaired/replaced. The other tires look good, but are weathered. The “Alcoa” aluminum wheels are quite valuable, and getting hard to find. Arconic isn't making any for this RV. The brakes/brake lines need tested, repaired, and power bleeding. This brake system setup requires a truck adapter, I have a tool that I will loan for that purpose. Most glass is aged, some is cracked, one window has been replaced with a piece of plexiglass. Original upholstery is in good shape, for it's age. Mileage is approximate. Title has not been transferred from previous owner.
Contact me directly for pictures.
The unit will be sold in-toto, I will not part it out.
It must be removed from the property where it is located at time of sale.

So both #290 (listed in Michigan) and #970 (listed in Tennessee) have the raised roof with a one-ton AC unit in the roof ??
"a one-of-Hi-Top unit" ? How many "Hi-Top units" are there ?
Dual axle ? What does that mean ?
Arconic ? Alcoa quit making FMC wheels long before the spin-off in 2016.
I'm cornfused . . .
Might help some potential BUYER if they knew WHERE IT IS, and what would be necessary to get it removed "at time of sale".

Thank you for the corrections, less sarcasm. Arconic was a joke, and a poor one. I meant dual wheels, not dual axles. It is unit 970, it is still in Knoxville, Tennessee. I had no knowledge another hi-top, so please forgive my ignorance.

The previous description is from my memory of it 1 year ago, and I know those things at least are necessary in order to drive it. To update the information I will have to make arrangements to visit the unit, and so I would like to establish that there is more than idle curiosity.

It is on Craigslist too, and might also go on an auction site as a whole, or as parts, if I can find the patience necessary to go that route.

Thanks for sharing this here. Cr. List is a good start to get these sold. The last few years there seems to be less and less of them listed. At the least, the ones in rougher shape - maybe not roadworthy - should be parted out to help keep the survivors rolling a little longer.

Good luck with this.

Here is a link to the Craigslist ad. The pictures are more than a year old, it is considerably more dirty now, but will likely clean up well.

Looks like an 'M' model that's been modded quite a spell. Cool though!

I think you'll sell it soon.

Thanks for the encouragement, I wish I could finish the work but health prevents it. Anyone interested, please PM me with questions, and for additional details. I'm quite willing to discuss ways to make this work for you. Best - Rich
