Ok, here’s a really great story to tell you about the power of the internet coupled with the power of the print media.
---
The FMCowners.com website contains a ‘feedback form’, partly for the convenience of visitors and mostly to reduce the volume of spam received by the webmaster (yours truly). On Friday we got some feed back from a fellow, Mike, who said this:

“What a GREAT site ---- I saw it on an ad in FMCA Feb 2007 --- I own SN 74 --- Bought from orig. owner --- I will join club --- You have 74 correctly listed ---Contact me on joining”

I responded, forwarded to Karen, and then tonight I sat down with the FMCA February edition and literally scoured it cover to cover (very unusual for me). At the very end of my search, I find the Ad in question: Page 178, top of the center column, and there looms a ½ inch ad for an FMC for sale, reportedly VIN number 0734, and it lists our web site address in BOLD.

Here’s the wacky part, I can not determine from our database who owns 734, although it may be in Oklahoma? Can anyone fill me in on our mysterious benefactor? I would love to send them big thanks, and perhaps split the classifieds fee!!

keep the dirty side down
