For those who do not have email, copies will be sent by mail. Lynn Clugston will make a list of those without email. This will help to keep expenses down.
Lenny noted that we should all go to the office to figure out the amount owed and what we will need to reimburse Faye …. ,,as she paid a deposit for the camping sites.
(Addendum: Lynn will send Faye a check for $100.00 when the new bank account is all set up.)
It was decided that Lynn and Ken would stop at Lincoln, Illinois and get the secretary/treasurer information from Karen Hoagland. Lenny will call her and have her have everything ready.
It was decided unanimously that the new account would have two names on it for security purposes, the president and treasurer. With only one signature needed to sign the checks.
We will go with a banking facility that has branches all o ver the United States.
Next order of business consisted of discussion about up dating the by laws. Due to the fact that membership is down many of those present felt that to retain and increase membership we might extend membership to previous owners of FMC Motor Coaches. The other reason is that some of the younger members with families want to go to a larger motor coach. Discussion also continued about possibilities of merging FMC and GMC clubs due to the nature of the coach unit and that they are both prehistoric relics…..OOPS!! I meant antiques or classics. No decision was made at this time as to how to handle the revision and up dating of the by-laws.
The next rally will be in Felton, CA on November 7-9, 2009, Rally Masters will be Greg Miller and Stephen Heinrichs.
Connie Kubiak presented Lenny and Margaret Mach with a large Christmas present in honor of their years of leadership and devotion to the FMC Owners Club. It contained everything a motorhomer would ever need. It was also moved and seconded that Lenny and Margaret would be lifetime Associate Members of the FMC Motor coach Owners Club as long as they kept their dues current.
Connie also presented everyone with a Christmas present when they arrived at the rally, because the West Bay Camping Resort was having Christmas in July. A Big thanks to Barney for cooking up great food and seeing that we were well fed.
The meeting was adjourned to the campfire, with glass in hand, by unanimous vote at 8:20 PM.
Respectfully Submitted,
Lynn Clugston #268
