10th Anniversary Mini-Rally Workday - Northern California Northern California is going to have another in its series of Northern California Workdays as its 10th anniversary Mini-Rally. This will be an enhanced Work Day in Gilroy as it will span two days and will include an evening barbeque and campfire in Eric's back yard. This will enable all of the Northern California coaches to get ready for the West Coast Rally Novermber 12-14 at the Flying Flags RV Resort in Buellton, CA. Dates: October 9-10 We will start on Saturday, October 9 at 12:00 noon. That will give those that need a little time to get there plenty of opportunity to leave their house in the morning and still get to Gilroy by the start time. We will wrap it up at 2:00pm on Sunday afternoon so that the drive home can also be done during daylight. Saturday evening we will have a barbeque and campfire in the back yard (the front will be filled with FMC coaches!). Note that children are welcome along with a supervising parent or adult. We would hope that spouses, if not already participating, can join the group for the evening dinner and campfire even if they can't make the rest of the day. The fire and condiments will be provided, but it is expected that participants will bring their own main dish (community barbequing fire will be fired up) and enough side dish so that we can do some mixing and matching of side dishes. For those that missed the Fire Box experience in Minden, Stephen will bring the one with his coach number that he later had made for himself so that we can all enjoy the ambiance of an FMC branded fire! Participants can stay in their coaches (drop cord electricity will be available) or go home by car and come back in the morning to continue working on or polishing their coaches. Please email Eric Whedon at RZER1C@aol.com to reserve a space for your coach as there is a limited amount of space and we want to accommodate as many coaches as possible. Email him even if you are still in the thinking/consideration stage so that we have an idea of numbers and so that Eric can email you directions to his place. Estimated arrival and departure times are needed so that Eric can plan coach placement and how to maximize the space available. If you have an FMC coach and are somewhere between Bakersfield and Oregon you are invited. If you are south of Bakersfield, we will still accommodate you if you can make it up North!! See you there,
