The MMCs had stretched FMC Frames and complete FMC suspension, with straight engine like a FMC bus/transit, but all were Diesels. Except for length and windows the "top" fiberglass is same as FMC. Bottom is much deeper and has side "under" storage. The torsion bars are bigger diameter, and are anchored inboard, instead of outboard. Chris Hoagland at MCR put some good pictures of front and rear suspension of the MMC. They also made a FMC Chassis/suspension in a more conventional Barth body style called a Regency, for a few years after the MMC. Barf ON! Lou #120 |
