This October will bring the 10th anniversary of the FMC Owners Club. The club was formed October 7th 2000 and now is our chance to try something new for an international club. The goal is to get as many small groups of FMC Owners around the country (world) together the weekend of October 8-10. Have a great time and get pictures and stories together to form an around the world Ten year reunion. Lets have some chatter and see what we can come up with. If yours won't go now get another owner to come over and have a rally at your place. At least go play in your coach and take a couple pictures of the fun.

I agree! If an area rally doesn't fit the date, have a "work day/weekend" where a few or couple of you get together and spiff up the coach and do the little things you need to do and have a barbeque and sleep in it and have a good time. Those in the Southeast can gather around Denny's FMC Firebox that he won in the raffle and have their favorite adult beverage.

Kjetil in Norway (#477) and Keith Wilson in Australia (#1042) can just go outside and sleep in their coaches and or go down to the local park.  It will be early summer for Keith, but could be cold for Kjetil but knowing him he is up to the task!

This is a great idea and a wonderful way to celebrate. Ken and I are planning to have a 10th Anniversary FMC Mini Rally In Missouri. Details will follow in a few days. We are looking at Branson, MO for the 8, 9, 10 of October. Will tentatively look at going to a Branson show on Saturday. More to follow. If you are interested let us know ASAP so I will have some numbers to work with.

This would be a great way to meet some newer members and those who often cannot get to rallys due to distance, if we have many mini rallys all over the country at the same time. This is 'way kool'.

You can email or call......... clugston@fidnet.com phone 573-465-4365

10th Anniversary Mini Rally
FMC Motorcoach Owners Club

Ken and I are planning a 10th Anniversary FMC Mini Rally in Branson, Missouri.

Dates will be October 8, 9, & 10.
We will tentatively look at going to a Branson show on Saturday.
More details will follow in a few days.

If you are interested I need to know ASAP
so I will have some numbers to work with.

This would be a great way to meet some newer members and those who often cannot get to rally’s due to distance, if we have a lot of mini rally’s all over the country at the same time, this would be so “KOOL”

I am emailing and snail mailing this to those who are reasonably and logistically close. Would love to have 6-8 FMC's. But if we have only 2 or 3 we will still have a party!! And of course everyone is invited

You can email or call........ clugston@fidnet.com phone 573-465-4365 or

10th Anniversary Mini-Rally Workday - Northern California

Northern California is going to have another in its series of Northern California Workdays as its 10th anniversary Mini-Rally.  This will be an enhanced Work Day in Gilroy as it will span two days and will include an evening barbeque and campfire in Eric's back yard.  This will enable all of the Northern California coaches to get ready for the West Coast Rally Novermber 12-14 at the Flying Flags RV Resort in Buellton, CA.

Dates: October 9-10

We will start on Saturday, October 9 at 12:00 noon.  That will give those that need a little time to get there plenty of opportunity to leave their house in the morning and still get to Gilroy by the start time.  We will wrap it up at 2:00pm on Sunday afternoon so that the drive home can also be done during daylight.

Saturday evening we will have a barbeque and campfire in the back yard (the front will be filled with FMC coaches!).  Note that children are welcome along with a supervising parent or adult.  We would hope that spouses, if not already participating, can join the group for the evening dinner and campfire even if they can't make the rest of the day.

The fire and condiments will be provided, but it is expected that participants will bring their own main dish (community barbequing fire will be fired up) and enough side dish so that we can do some mixing and matching of side dishes.

For those that missed the Fire Box experience in Minden, Stephen will bring the one with his coach number that he later had made for himself so that we can all enjoy the ambiance of an FMC branded fire!

Participants can stay in their coaches (drop cord electricity will be available) or go home by car and come back in the morning to continue working on or polishing their coaches.

Please email Eric Whedon at RZER1C@aol.com to reserve a space for your coach as there is a limited amount of space and we want to accommodate as many coaches as possible.  Email him even if you are still in the thinking/consideration stage so that we have an idea of numbers and so that Eric can email you directions to his place.  Estimated arrival and departure times are needed so that Eric can plan coach placement and how to maximize the space available.

If you have an FMC coach and are somewhere between Bakersfield and Oregon you are invited.  If you are south of Bakersfield, we will still accommodate you if you can make it up North!!

See you there,

Jim, we look forward to seeing you again here out West. We (Greg Miller) will have more particulars posted in the not too distant future. Hopefully, you will be able to link up with a couple of coaches that reside between here and there and they will be able to also come. The location is nice and walking distance to the world famous Pea Soup Andersons restaurant. The Danish town of Solvang is also only a few miles away.

But the most important thing is that you will get to visit with other FMC coach owners. See you then,

Lynn; We wanted to attend this rally since there are no other members in GA or otherwise close by, but the "Kid" will be in school and don't want to pull him out. Branson is 650-700 miles so it's a trek. Good luck... Denny
