So more than likely the old system is toast. I have gone through a few ac threads and wanted to get any updated opinions on wether we should do one large unit or two smaller roof units. As well has anyone figured out how to get a less expensive residential unit into the machine?

I may have a working rear original unit available as soon as I switch my two units out for replacement original units.

But if changing to roof units, I would put one in the hallway area and keep my existing two roof vents. Manny times the vents are all I need.

The low profile Coleman Mach8 roof units are the way to go...get rid of all the original house and engine driven stuff..
