  | Looking for the recomended torque for Alcoa wheels. My search of the Forum didn't find any results though I'm sure it's certainly 'operator error'. Thanks for any advise.

  | Thanks for the link. 450-500 ft lbs looks like the number I was looking for. I use a 3/4" Makita 115 volt impact just for the wheels. It's rated 500 clockwise, 550 counter clockwise. Use it on our Eagle bus for wheel work. At home I can always drag out the 1" IR gun with a 1/2" hose. I run the compressor at 175 lbs so it'll make quick work of most stubborn fasteners. Bit of a man killer though, guess I'm getting old.
