Author: BigRabbitMan (Show all albums)

Another fun and learning time was experienced at the Felton Rally. There were eight coaches present with the first appearance by one coach and the first rally for two owners.

Here we have part of Louise Herbert, Ron Herbert, Antoinette Capell (holding Mia), Darren Capell, visiting Capell daughter, Harry Day.

Left to right discussing things important to FMC ownership are Len Barron, Capell son, Sandy Day, Louise Herbert and Ron Herbert.

A star of the rally was Larry Enoksen's dog Baby. Here she is waiting for Larry to pick up and throw "the ball". She will only go get green tennis balls! Very particular. But Larry will not get the ball from the ground, Baby has to give it to him. If he doesn't throw the ball, she will find someone else to throw the ball! Eventually almost everyone gets a turn. Harry and Greg are waiting to see what happens.

Len arrived with coach 1027, on the left, and his scooter for getting around the local area.

Here's the other half of the group including ....

.... coach 577 on the right which registered late so is separated slightly from the group.

This spring, Greg Miller put together an order for 20 brake drums for the coaches. Many of them were to be picked up at the rally so Greg brought them in his pickup for distribution.

People standing around talking. We did a lot of that! Subjects included correcting steering issues, wiper blades and wiper arms, etc. Included in this photo are, on the far left, Karl Manheimmer, Louise Herbert's brother who lives locally and on the far right, Michelle, Len Barron's partner.

The group was very fortunate to enjoy a tour of a private automobile/trailer (and many other things) collection in the local area. Louise Herbert did an excellent job of making the contact and arranging the tour. Thanks Louise! This is a 1954 Cadillac.

A late 20's Model A Ford that is original and not restored.

One of very few wooden teardrop trailers from the 30's that still exist. Again, unrestored as the owner only purchases original, unrestored units.

The side door.
