Wiring stripped and rolled back. 5 cans of degreaser and a pressure sprayer can do a world of good!!

Reinstalled the aft crossmember to get the radiator mount positions needed to fabricate new mount brackets.

New drivers side radiator mount.

New passenger side mount.

Cut away and removed the crossmember and cut out both the janky add on battery tray and the drivers side donut crossmember mount (it was too ridiculous to keep).

What is this...an allison transmission factory?

Bellhousing swap complete and a quick clean up.

rear view of the duramax with the GM backplate and flywheel assy, the SAE 3 setup is considerably different and longer, not ideal for an FMC swap.

interesting two piece flywheel flexplate system

hooking the load leveler up low helped ensure the lift would clear

in place with temporary mounts

plenty of room to fabricate new motor mounts and cross member
