I'm eliminating the egr system completely so instead of buying an LB7 up-pipe I just cut off the upper section that used to go to the egr cooler

capped the opening with some scrap 1/8" steel, much better than spending $140 for an LB7 up-pipe

magnaflow downpipe modified with flex coupler, I cut the bottom bend off of it and reinstalled the flange that was there (to ease welding to the flex coupler)

the modified downpipe exits in a much better position, I'll only need a 90dg bend to turn rear and make the muffler attachment

Flex coupler is well clear of everything and will make mounting of the rest of the system much easier

Pretty straight forward package, 3.5" mandrel bend, v-band clamp and a muffler.

tucked it up in the crossmember notch, there will be an additional generator muffler just above and outboard of this muffer with it exhausting just above the engine tail pipe

tail pipe extension for the engine, the generator tail pipe will be just above it

broke out the fire wrench and got rid of the old battery mount, mocking up the new fuse/relay box, ECM and TCM will mount(vertically) right above it on the frame rail

modified (just tacked together)the coolant outlet pipe so that it will exit right at the center inlet of the radiator, I don't have a TIG welder so I'm going to get one of the guys at work to complete the welding on it.

New interface junction box installed, this will be where the FMC wire harness integrates with the duramax.

I had to abort the further rear mounting position for the relay/fuse box, I didn't feel like extending 15-20 power wires just to make it happen.
