Located in Northern California, most of her life was in the SF Bay Area, Santa Clara County. All original condition with wiring around the engine and Hoses burned. I am moving and I need to sell but I really don't know what the asking price should be.
I'd be willing to trade for a working vehicle.
What do you think the value of 169 might be with a good engine and transmission? Fire didn't reach the interior of the coach.

Would $2500.00 be a fair price?

You need to post some pictures of the good/bad of #169 before anyone can really give a fair market value opinion. Even then, geographical locations depict need/value too. Your west coast, so that is good.

Annie, does it have 17 inch wheels or 19.5 inch wheels. That will have a significant effect on value outside of the fire damage issue.

Thank you Stephen, I just went out and checked the size ... 17inch.
Are the 19 1/2 inch the more desirable size?

Yes, the 19.5 inch is much more desireable. The 17 inch tires are much more problematic to get serviced or replaced as few shops want to deal with the split ring wheel design. It is a major cost item to upgrade to the larger size as both the wheels and tires would need to be purchased. Upgrading is not required as tires and tubes are still available, but what is on the coach affects its value in a negative direction.

The other tire issue is their age. Tires over 10 years of age have a high failure rate and most people recommend replacing them at that point or earlier. Tires that sit fail sooner than those that are regularly flexed by use.

Thanks for the info on wheels and tires. Someone is going to get a total restoration project ! They are going to have to tell her. 169 is in Susanville California not that far from Oregon.
I'm dropping the price to $ 1500. 00!!

169 will have to be towed and I hope she will be restored! I haven't advertised her yet. I guess she'll go on Craigslist. Some pictures were placed on this site, I think in the gallery.
