Has anyone found a windshield cover for our coaches?  Or a vendor who made one for ours?

I would go online and research the various types of sunshades for the windows/windshield. There are many types and manufactures. Your first decision will be to have one inside the windshield or outside the windshield. Most shade manufactures have some standard sizes for high volume coaches, but also make them to fit with the dimensions from your coach.

Google is your friend!

Been there done that Stephen. Only found generic stuff or custom for $540. I asked here so that if anyone had already done the legwork, and had personal experience, I could consider with confidence.

I have tried the same route with dash covers. No joy. Even the places that advertise "1000 patterns", where you'd think one of them would be for the FMC because they have been in business for years, nothing. I know they were made once as I have seen them on more than one FMC. If you have one, keep it!

If you're talking about a snap on exterior shade I have one, it does have the vendor patch still on it. It has the vendor patch still on it:
Gold Coast RV Products, Port Hueneme, CA. Mine is starting to get frayed so I'm going to get a new one made while this one is still a good pattern.

Exactly what I'm talking about Len. However, I can't seem to find an active web site for Gold Coast RV Products and the only link I found was to Camping World, where the product was not available. Any contact info would be appreciated.

I think Camco bought them out. I'm going to make a new set for myself this summer (I also have the side window covers) using what I have as patterns (they fit really well); I'd be willing to ship my old one to anyone who wanted to have one made locally, or perhaps do a small group buy here. When I'm ready to go I'll post up and see how much interest there is.

I like that it covers the cowl so as to keep out debris. How does it attach?  I am hoping to not screw into the body if possible.

I have usually seen snaps with these covers. The snaps that have to be screwed into the fiberglass. Looks like that might be the case here too(?).
I have interior covers for the windshield(s) and the side windows at the drivers door and passenger window. All put on with snaps.

Yes installed with snaps. I'm not sure how else it could be attached.

With either Velcro or magnets. Prototype coach #002 has outside shades attached with Velcro.

I have considered ordering coverings from Magne Shade http://www.magneshade.com/ or making my own out of shade cloth from the hardware store. I believe Darren contacted them as when I contacted them they said they just had another inquiry from an FMC owner the day before. Yes, cost is a bit high but that frequently happens with quality items. Where I currently park my coach the windshield is to the north, so it is currently a lower priority for me. But I am seriously considering making my own magnetically attached ones from shade cloth. The cost would be a small fraction of the price from Magne Shade. The quality would be less as well, but ....

Yep that was me!  $550 is a bit steep but my perspective may change.
