Location: Washougal, WA | Has anyone installed levelling jacks on their FMC? I'd love to hear some details if you have.
Or even tips/tricks you've discovered/engineered without jacks to make the job easier.

Do NOT park up and down on a hill. Figure some way to park left and right across a hill . . . but some spots you won't have enough boards to drive forward or aft up on the board(s).
MOVE TO A MORE LEVEL SPOT !
Store 2 X 6 board assortment in side storage compartment between RF tire and street door.

has a few pictures of my Power Plus leveling system. This system had been installed (very poorly) by RVS some years in the past. I had to cut off, fabricate new, and relocate the frame mounts, I also had to throw away the original controller(non-operational and no longer supported) and make my own switch panel. The jacks themselves work great, I'm not willing to go through the trial and error of stacking boards to get set up at the campsite...I also like the fact that the rig doesn't rock with wind or someone walking around like it does when just on the suspension. |
