Extreme Veteran Location: Ignacio Colorado | Just bought my 6th FMC. A nice remodeled E model. Looks pretty much like a J- lounge model now. Alcoa wheels and disc brake upgrade. #547 will be heading to Colorado.

Extreme Veteran Location: Ignacio Colorado | http://www.fmcmotorcoach.com/files/FMC_Club_Coach.pdf Here is a link to a brochure on the club coach. I believe that is how #547 started out on the inside. Bill

Extreme Veteran Location: Ignacio Colorado | 4 day trip to retrieve the coach. I did have to change the transmission because it would not move forward. I took one with me just in case low fluid was not the issue. I think it is what caused the clutch failure though. 1 day on the road to get there, a day getting it running and deciding the trans had to be changed. Spent yesterday changing the 727 and doing the finishing touches then about 4 hours on the road yesterday. Beat the sun up and enjoyed Texas in my rear view mirror before breakfast. Hmm guess breakfast was forgotten and miles were eaten instead. Home late afternoon. Tired but happy all went well. Bill

Extreme Veteran Location: Ignacio Colorado | This was my 6th FMC retrieval but the only one to get a transmission first. I had planned for it but hoped it wasn't necessary. I bought it with the understanding the coach wouldn't move forward. They had a transmission for it that I brought back when I made the deal a few weeks back. It had been rebuilt but stored badly. I had to totally tear it down to clean it out. Crust on outside as well. Cleaned, painted and put back together with small changes as well as new seals, gaskets and filter. It had been rebuilt with good parts but the new front band and friction discs were not presoaked in fluid. 670 miles trip home no problem. Bill
