Location: Cottage Grove, OR | Hello everyone, There is going to a Spring Rally in Felton, CA, April 18-20 as a Warm Up to the Mega Rally that is going to be held at Red Oak II July 10-14 near Carthage, MO. A couple of the reasons for this rally is that, one, we haven't had one since last summer and we miss each other, and, secondly, it will give us an opprotunity to coordinate traveling plans for when we head East to MO for the Mega Rally. The rally will be at the Cotillian Gardens RV park which is where all of our Felton Rallies are held. As anyone who has been there can tell you, it is a great location for rallies. The signup sheet and other details will be published later, but you can put the dates on your calendar right now. A couple of points that I want to get across right now: the first is that if you can only go to either this rally or the Mega Rally, do not come to this one, but go to the Mega Rally as it will be a much larger rally in a unique location. My second point is that should schdules or other factors prevent you from going to the Mega Rally, then you should make every effort to be at this rally. FMC MOTOR COACH WEST COAST RALLY
*** Note: this is a “Warm Up” rally to prepare for the Mega Rally in MO in July. If you know you can’t make that rally, come to this one. It would be great if you can come to both this one AND the Mega Rally as a number of us will be doing. If you can only go to one rally and can go to MO, go to the one in MO. ***
As of the time I am writing this, there are 3 spots remaining in the reserved location within the RV park. There are other spots available within the park when these fill up, but don’t wait too long as this is a popular location. There are also onsite cabins available for those attending without their FMC.

Cotillion Gardens RV Park is nestled amongst redwood trees near Santa Cruz, California. The rally will be from Friday April 18 to Sunday April 20, 2014. Early arrivals and late departures are encouraged, as there are many things to do in the area.

Friday –April 18th
Arrival and check in with dinner on your own or in a local restaurant.
Saturday –April 19th
Time to for a local activity; FMC pot-luck dinner; camp fire into the night, planning and coordinating for the Mega Rally in Carthage, MO in July. Discussion of FMC parts situation given the closing of RVS – positive news!
Sunday –April 20th
FMC Club meeting followed by hugs and goodbyes.
STEP 1: Make Reservations directly with the RV park at 831-335-7669; reserve for “FMC Rally”; Approx. $52/night cash/check 2 people; ask about 3 night special: reserve now, pay when you arrive; or more $/night w/CC. All spaces set aside for us are full hookups.

NOTE ON DIRECTIONS OR IF YOU USE GPS:
It is best to approach the park from the North by driving through Felton. The road South of the park is beautiful, but can be narrow and windy. Plus, the turn into the main entrance is pretty tight coming from the South. It’s a piece of cake from the North!
