You should post what your general budget range is, and whether or not you want a turn key rig or a project. There are a few on the market around the country now mostly on Craigslist.

Theirs a 20 thousand dollar M model still for sale on Craigslist that's real nice. All the others right now are in terrible shape. And there's this one, but it looks like it needs to be dipped in bleach, and would need 2-3k in parts/repairs to be on the road if you ask me, but it looks very complete...

Carol, We have 2 FMC coaches, #268 is 1974 gas, mostly originally and # 705 has been converted to a diesel. The inside has been upgraded and it looks like the inside of a Criss-craft motor boat.

If you would like more information about these here is our phone number, Ken's 573-465-0210 and mine is 573-465-4365.

Thank you for the responses. We would like something that is drive-able. It does not have to be fancy or beautiful but mechanically sound would be good. My husband is a mechanic who can fix anything, but he does not want a "project". We were hoping to stay under $10,000 but there are some out there that are worth more and we could go about $20,000 for the right one. We have not driven an FMC yet- but it appears they would drive a little better than the motor homes we have had in the past. Hoping to drive across country next fall.

where are you located? The coach in vancouver would be worth looking at if you are a west coaster, don't let the asking price scare you off, people selling these rigs know they are a niche market and if you have a potential deal you need to find a price that you both can live with..

That price is Canadian so US price is significantly lower.

The message system on this forum is hit and miss at best, it's just easier to post your email address.

You may want to get the "$35K or Best Offer" picture out of your photos.

Carol,
I have a fully functional, most original FMC. I’ve done a lot of work on it and put a couple of grand into things to get it road worthy and safe. But I’m running out of mojo and may be moving soon. If you are still looking please send me an email at jrobowen @ gmail . Com. I can send some pictures to you directly.
Regards,
Rob

Hi, are you still looking? I have 458 that I am considering selling. I think it better than reasonable. Just had it replumbed. Inverter new and all went through. Original propane all checked out. Newer tires. Runs and drives great.
