Regular | Well, in trying to get #86 back on the road I have found the internals on the brake have grenaded. Anyone have one whole or parts? Carl

Check your local craigslist as well for something like this: https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/pts/d/riverside-mopar-chrysler-7... Edited by LCAC_Man 2019-02-20 10:51 AM

Extreme Veteran Location: Ignacio Colorado | I would think that early coach has a 727 3 speed not the Allison 4 speed but you need to know to get the right parts. Last person looking had the Allison. If it’s the 727 was there anything in the drum. A picture of what you have is the best way to proceed. I have drums, a set of relined shoes and can pull the rest from a complete unit. i Just don’t want to part with anything you don’t need. Bill

Regular | Bill, you are correct, it is the 727 that has given me fits. I sent you a PM with more info.

Elite Veteran Location: Victoria, BC. Canada | Hey Carl, Forgot to welcome you to the FMC community! FYI: If this proves a viable option for you (if Billy hasn't already fixed you up) I'm likely going this route for my park-brake when I do my Cummins swap - http://www.abcodistributors.ca/ I tend to park on the flat then chock my wheels so I think it would work fine for my application. They use them on forklifts and stuff so I figure they must be pretty good. I ain't had much luck getting my stock park brake to give me any love. Good luck regardless what you do. Cheers, Terry #846

Regular | Hey All I want to thank all of you for your help. Turns out there was one right around the corner (actually 30 miles but who is counting). It has little use, brake pads are in excellent condition, so it will all go on shortly. As for sources, I found the part at a transmssion shop, one that does light trucks. A lot of places throw them away... Ugh... Anyway, as well I found some parts on Ebay, CBody restoration and a local classic mopar dealer. Oh, Arizona RV Dismantlers had one as well. But in the end it was local and pretty cheap considering what the other prices were. Thanks to everyone again. Now one step closer to getting this machine on the road
