Jim, I tred warious ways to get a photo to link into a forum posting and they don't seem to work.  see the engine thread.  One that usd to work in the Thermostat thread also no longer works.

Steph, I found the message that does not work in the Thermostat thread, and by reading the HTML I don't know how it ever worked!?

I updated the message to use the thermostat picture you posted in the album. To insert a photo, see the MBBS Code Help for syntax. Basically, format commands start and end with brackets "[" and "]" as in

[ img=http://www.fmcowners.com/mbbs22/photos/get-photo.asp?photoid=439 ]

produces:

There were two things wrong: the syntax is [ img=path ], and you had [image=path]
second thing was the path of the image pointed to the album display, not the image name. Proper syntax to link to an image in the gallery would be
http://www.fmcowners.com/mbbs22/photos/get-photo.asp?photoid=456
